Job Description:
Orders and Sales
  • Responsible for sales of all products under SUNLIGHT product portfolio to Super Markets only and communicating to the Divisional Head.
  • Monitor and report back on SUNLIGHT products stock levels at customer premises as well as competitor’s stock levels.
  • Collect customer orders and coordinate with Sales Coordinator for the dispatch of the goods to the customer.
  • Keep track of customers to ensure timely collections, placement of sales orders, monitor their performance, monitor monthly movement product wise.
  • Ensure customer credit balances are monitored on a periodical basis. Regularly review and ensure customer credits are within their pre-agreed credit limits with Divisional Head. 
  • Identify slow-moving items and dead stock and replace it by new items at customers shop/shelves.

Market Related Activities
  • Register new product with the customer to get it regularized.
  • Educate customers on new products that are arriving.
  • Monitor the movement of new product and update Divisional Head.
  • Design and propose customer a promotional plan periodically, after getting approval from Divisional Head.

Collections
  • Collect Cheque made by customers and confirm the same to the Sales Coordinator.
  • Obtain advice from the Divisional Head if the cash to be collected from customer or not.

Customer Relationship
  • Visit Super market customers regularly, reconcile their accounts and understand problems.
  • Plan weekly objectives for Super Market visits and submit a weekly feedback report on visits made.

QUALIFICATIONS & QUALITIES
  • OND/HND or a graduate in Marketing or Business Management or Economics.
  • Must have at least 3 years experience in sales to super market with knowledge of Nigeria markets for snacks, food and beverages.
  • IT skills must include above average ability to work on Excel and MS Word.
  • Fluent in spoken English and adept at written skills in English. Fluency in Yoruba is a must.
  • Ideally, exposure of working within a multi-cultural environment.
  • In order to be successful in this role, the candidate must be a self motivated, confident, enthusiastic and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Acts with honour and character – A person of high integrity who is direct and truthful but at the same time can keep confidences.
