Ogbeide vows to cut Gabros to size
Bayelsa United head coach, Solomon Ogbeide has boasted that
his side would cut Gabros to their proper size when both teams clash in this
weekend’s Premier League match in Oghara, Delta State.
Ogbeide, wile urging his players to
be clinical in front of goal, said he was already working on the defence, which
he admitted was still suspicious.
“Goal scoring is a loose end we must
tighten very well before we head off to our next league match. “I thank God for
the turn of event of late as we’ve been looking for our first win to give the
players confidence to come out of their shell and we got that breakthrough
against FC Taraba on Sunday in Oghara.
“The FC Taraba victory was a real
boost now followed with another morale booster, the draw at Sharks. “We’re not
yet there but will continue to perfect our strategy until we get it 100%
perfect then the catch-up race will end. “We’ll consolidate on the newly found
winning aura against Gabros when both sides clash at the weekend,” said the
former Warri Wolves coach.
