"Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, husband means master" - Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Although this article was shared on Facebook page: Christ Embassy.Org Online Missions on September 4th and attributed to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, it did not gain attention until someone related it to the Pastor's former marriage. Anyway, according to the founding president of Christ Embassy, a Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage but rather master. That the beauty of a woman lies in listening to her husband and most women have never been taught by their fathers, hence they think their husband is another woman. Read below.

"Husband does not mean the male partner in a marriage, husband means master. The reason for most problems in Christian marriages is the fact that women refute God’s definition of marriage and form theirs. They believe they are equal partners.
If most women had their fathers bold enough to talk to them, they will be very successful in their marriage and they will be very happy people. Most women have never been taught by their parents, their fathers particularly and that’s their biggest problem because they don’t know who a man is, they think he is another woman.
In marriage, you have the man who is the head of that union and because he’s the head of that union, its important to understand him. You think he’s the one that needs to understand his wife and that is where you are wrong. He will eventually but you have to know the type of man you are married to and his needs.
When you say you are marrying a man, you are coming under his authority. The Bible says, the man is the head of the woman (1 Corinthians 11:3) so when you marry him you come under his authority, you are not authority sharers even though you are both heirs to the kingdom of God.
When you decide not to subject yourself to that authority, you are a rebel and God is not going to accept what you are doing because you are not functioning correctly. Why did God make the woman?
Making woman was not God’s original plan because after God created Adam and before He made Eve, He said in Genesis 1:31 “Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good”. God made woman because of man so woman was not His original idea. This is reality.
Genesis 2:18a “And the Lord God said “for it is not good for a man to be alone..” The Bible didn’t say “lonely” but “alone”. There is a big difference. Man wasn’t lonely but alone. Genesis 2:18b “…I will make him an help meet”. He didn’t say a partner or a supervisor or a special advisor or someone to tell him what to do.
I will make him someone to help him. God gave man a responsibility so woman was made to help man achieve that responsibility. If this is understood in every home then you won’t have problems.
I tell people that you don’t need a marriage seminar, you need the Word Seminar. Let me tell you, no husband wants another mother, he has had one all his life. He doesn’t want an older sister, he probably had one.
Your secret is in obedience, your secret is in listening to your husband, your secret is in doing the things that please him. When you don’t do the things that please him, you take the role of a mother or of an older sister.
A man loves the one he serves (God) and the one that serves him (a good wife). He fights the one that wants to be at the same level with him (a rebellious wife).
To be happy in your family and home is the easiest thing in the world, just take your role. Take your place. That place that God gave you is a beautiful place. Its a place of peace. Its a place of love. It’s a place of excellence.
Every wise person listens to wise voices (advice) but he listens to a wise voice that is presented wisely.
Everyone rebels against the voice that is trying to make a fool out of him. When you want to correct your husband, don’t lord it over him, present it as a wise suggestion. Humble yourself and be smart.
A wise woman will always be an influence to her husband, the foolish one will always annoy the husband, make him mad, make him angry and when you make him angry, you will be the victim. Learn to listen to your husband, practice it, tell yourself that you are going to do it because that is where your beauty is.
Once you stop listening, your beauty evaporates. You wonder why you are dressing and he can’t see it, he doesn’t remember your last hair style. Beauty is in obedience. That’s where the Glory is.''

Economy: The times are confusing but we as an administration are not confused- Kemi Adeosun

Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun says contrary to opinions by some Nigerians, this administration is not confused as to how it intends to grow the economy. According to Adeosun, the times may be confusing but the administration is not confused. She said this while speaking with state House correspondents.

"We are here because we were pumping the oil and using the money in recurrent expenditure. We were not investing. The NBS statistics are clearly showing that the level of investment has gone up so we are moving away from consumption to investment.
What does investment do? It is permanent. If you build a road, it is there for 40 years. These railways we want to revive was done in the colonial years. and it is still there. So we have to invest in capital. That is what this administration has said was our economic strategy. No we are not confused. The times are confusing but we are not confused. We are extremely focused. Know that if we can just bear and get through this difficult period, Nigeria is going to be better for it. And I must say, those who are criticizing us, not one person has come up and said this is what you should do. All they are saying is we don't like what we see. And we don't like it either. It is inevitable"she said

Buhari To Receive 18-Seater Bus Built By Niger-Delta Youths At Innoson Motors

BUHARI-NL
An 18 –seater bus built from scratch by former Niger Delta militants trained at Innoson Kiara Academy, an arm of Innoson Motor Manufacturing Company, Nnewi, is to be delivered to President Muhammadu Buhari through the Presidential Adviser on Amnesty Programme, General Paul Boroh (retd).
The bus was on display at Innoson Motors and the Niger Delta trainees were elated that the federal government provided them the opportunity to acquire skills that had changed their lives for the better.
The donation of the bus to the President formed part of the graduation ceremony of 120 Niger Delta youths at Innoson Motors, Nnewi, who spent nine months training in the areas of auto mechanics, auto electrical, auto welding, auto painting and spraying, heavy duty truck maintenance, ICT, engineering drawing, entrepreneurial and interpersonal skills.
Boroh, who handed them certificates at the impressive ceremony said the Presidential Amnesty Programme would collaborate with Innoson to ensure that all of them were fully set up to contribute their quota towards nation-building. Officials of Innoson Motors had earlier promised to employ the trainees on a starting monthly salary of N40,000 considering the quality of skills they had acquired.
Boroh, who flagged off the training nine months ago, told them at the graduation: “You have been on this training for nine months and we hope you are well –equipped now. The skills you have acquired will never be allowed to waste even a day.
“It is not easy to employ people these days and that is why we are grateful to Chief Innocent Chukwuma for promising to employ all those who are interested in working in the company.
“Having learnt the job, you are on your way towards becoming successful entrepreneurs. Modalities for the formation of the clusters where you will practice what you have learnt are already out.”
According to Boroh, the graduates would be encouraged to set up cooperative societies to enable them reap the full benefits of their training.

Apologise To Nigerians, Your 16 Years Of Misrule Brought Hardship, Destroyed Economy – APC Charges PDP

APC-dp
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has charged the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to apologise to Nigerians for its 16- years of misrule that has brought about hardship in the country.
The call was contained in a statement issued yesterday in Abuja by the media aide to the APC National Chairman, Segun Dipe.
In the statement, the ruling party challenged the PDP to be “contrite” of its past mistakes of looting and destroying the nation’s economy instead of putting itself as an alternative to a government that is “barely a year on office.”
The statement reads, “Due to PDP’s perfidy, our country’s resources were stolen and opportunities frittered away. But instead of being contrite, the PDP is arrogantly putting itself up as the alternative to a government that is barely one year in office and has inherited a totally ruined economy. This is brazenly irresponsible.
“What the nation can now testify to is that the only thing that united the PDP was their singular commitment to milking the resources of this nation dry, as evident in all the corruption cases that have now been exposed.
“The PDP cannot therefore expect to move on without first taking responsibility for their shameful conduct and ignominious behaviour. The starting point in their long journey to rehabilitation is to apologise to Nigerians
“It is immoral, insensitive, unconscionable and unacceptable for the PDP to hire spin doctors to reel out some figures of GDP growth in their time that never impacted positively on the Nigerian people. Our advice to the party chieftains is that the time is now for them to look Nigerians in the eye and say, ‘we are sorry.” ‎
