American Hip Hop artist and producer, Kasseem Dean, popularly known as Swizz Beatz, has confirmed collaboration with Wizkid on a new project, sending the Nigerian star’s fans into wild celebrations.
Wizkid, who is elated to be working with Swizz Beatz on the new project, said, “Just made bangers with Swizz Beatz,” adding, “Love to the real one.”
Swizz Beatz, who is married to Alicia Keys, has also affirmed their duet. The American producer, who has worked with top acts in the industry, including Kendrick Lamar and DMX shared the news, garnering hundreds of reactions from excited Nigerians, who can’t help but marvel at Wizkid’s numerous successes abroad.
Wizkid’s break came after Drake fell in love with his ‘Ojuelegba’ track and dropped the remix on his OVO Sound radio. Wizkid also co-produced the song ‘One Dance’ off the Canadian rapper’s latest album, ‘Views’.The StarBoy boss has since been drawing global attention.
Only days ago, Wizzy joined Chris Brown on his first ever world tour with a globally-recognised A-list artiste.
And now, with yet another global recognition under his belt, much more than any Nigerian artiste of his time, fans couldn’t help but celebrate him one more time.
