Nigeria International Alex Iwobi Receives Plaque To Mark Premier League Debut
Nigeria international forward, Alex Iwobi has received a special plaque to mark his Premier League debut for Arsenal.
Iwobi last season made his league bow for Arsenal in their 3-0 win at Swansea in October 2015.
The 20-year-old went on to impress, scoring two league goals as he featured regularly for the Gunners.
Iwobi took to his Instagram to share a photo of a commemorative picture he was awarded for his league debut.
The forward also received a a personalised and engraved case containing a Premier League match ball from last season, detailing his debut day.
The forward is among the 67 homegrown graduates who made their Premier League debut last season.
This is the highest number of graduate debutants in the Premier League since launch of their Elite Player Performance Plan in 2012.
Like Iwobi, other graduate debutants also received the plaques.
Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford, Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli and Demarai Gray of Leicester City are all on the list.
